Leonella Masella (taranto (It), 1942)
Born in taranto Italy in 1942, she lived and travelled from childhood to various countries in europe, asia, and the Far east. she worked for the United nations in rome, Mozambique, sudan, Kampuchea, angola. From 1989 to 2000 she followed courses in printing and engraving tech- niques in rome, namibia, south africa. From 1991 to 1995 she lived and worked in namibia where she enrolled at the Faculty of Visual art of the University of south africa, Johannesburg, where in 2001 she obtained the Intermediate Degree Certificate in Visual art. In 2003 she wins the Prize of Critique at the International Competition esPoarte (sV), Italy, and in 2014 she wins the Prize of Critique at the Contemporary art Bien- nale of anagni-Frosinone, Italy. she lives and works in rome.
