He has a BFA in Graphic Design and an MFA in Illustration from the Faculty of Fine Arts of the
University of Novi Sad.
Brostean is a multidisciplinary visual artist with over 15 years of creative experience
working with traditional and digital media.
Its bold and colorful style, often described as “new contemporary figuration”, is specific to its use
of brave and unexpected compositions, a bold color palette
and unique and amazing images. In his personal work, he has been strongly inspired by all the
aspects of human nature: exploration of the subconscious, emotional states, dreams, real and the
surrealist Brostean is a master at deconstructing the obvious reality in order to reconstruct it
again. He has developed his own and very personal technique and style, the result of a
perpetual journey, constant search for identity and complexity of meanings.
As for the field of applied art, Brostean has specialized in publishing and fashion
illustration, applying his well-known playful mixed media technique especially to magazines and
book illustrations, often experimenting with collage, using both traditional and digital tools like

that do not shy away from pushing the limits, exploring a daring and surprising aesthetic
outputs on all platforms. His widely recognizable style has established him as one of the
emerging contemporary artists appreciated by selected international clients such as Armani

among many others.
His work has been published in numerous books, magazines and publications around the
world Since 2006 he has exhibited his work in a variety of exhibitions, ranging from personal
to collective shows throughout Europe (Italy, Germany, Portugal, Spain and the United Kingdom), as well as to
the Middle East and the United States.
