Marie Lalo (Montréal, 1964)
It is during her travels that Marie Lalo collects all kinds of papers with which she has created her own “painting on paper” technique that she improves at the whim of her inspirations.
“I like the idea of giving new life to the papers that I find. Follow the path, for example, of an old magazine found in a storage room and see it, in my workshop, take human form. My works are entirely made of paper.”
