Teresa Gancedo

Teresa Gancedo lived her youth in Madrid until 1960, then she moved to Barcelona where she studied Fine Arts at the Escuela Superior de San Jorge. In the eighties, she participated in the New Images from Spain exhibition at the Guggenheim Museum in New York. She has held more than 50 individual exhibitions and more than 70 group exhibitions in Spain, Europe and America. More recently, the MUSAC presented a major retrospective of her work between October 27, 2018 and January 13, 2019. This exhibition has been the starting point for a tour, still in progress, throughout the Autonomous Community of Castilla y León.
