Mercè Grifé (Manresa, 1954)
Mercè Gifré’s means of expression is engraving, with which she creates prints that are full of simplicity and serenity, as well as very personal emotions represented with discreet colors and subtle shapes.
To make these engravings she uses matrices made with Tetra Brik containers and water-soluble inks, taking advantage of waste materials and putting a grain of sand towards sustainability.
